Saturday general admission $10 Every ticket is a pit pass.
Now that we are into the new year, it is time to start getting a couple events, ideas, and changes for the new 2015 racing season into print and on record. The track is still for sale, see the listing below, but until it is sold we will continue racing operations, in their entirety, including OutPost Grill and Bar. Weekly races on Saturday evenings will continue as in the past, same gate and practice run schedule as in the past. We are not going to print a four color process 11 x 17 multi fold schedule as we have done the past 19 years, internet technology has left that format in the dust. We will print a single sheet flyer for a handout, but most racers and fans will get the schedule info from our website. We sincerely appreciate and thank the advertisers that have supported us over the years, we will now be offering them internet exposure and track side signage. Pre season test and tune has a target date of Saturday March 21, rain date of Sunday March 22. Season opener and points start Saturday March 28, all weather permitting of course. Friday night test and tune, beginning Friday evening April 3rd, we are going to try a new time frame, gates will still open at 5 pm, however we will not start or have the track ready until 7 pm and will run until 11 pm. We will still be running for four hours, just starting one hour later. If this doesn't have the desired results, we may move back to the 6-10 time frame. At this time we do not have any sponsors for any of the best 8 classes, or a sponsor for the track race of champions. We need help getting sponsors for these programs. OSRBikes.com will be returning with a seven race Street Bike Shootout series as we have done the past several years. Cornfed Diesel will returning with two truck and tractor pulls, May 23 & August 15. The NHRA Div 3 ET Finals will be the weekend of Saturday September 19. Moville Groundshakers will be having their annual Fathers Day all motorcycle race again this year, June 21. NASRA (National Scooter Racing Association) will be at Bunker Hill Dragstrip for their fall national event Friday and Saturday September 18 & 19. A few more events, including the nostalgia super stock and pro stocks, are still being negotiated. We will post more info as it becomes available.
