E.T. Finals 2008  As a result of the NHRA division 3 track operators meetings  January 4, & 5, 2008, the following changes are being made. There will be 23 NHRA Division 3 tracks that will participate in the 2008 Summit Series E.T. Finals, to be contested at O'rielly Raceway Park at Indianapolis, September 12, 13, and 14, 2008. Team rosters will consist of 32 members total, from Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Super Pro Motorcycle categories. Super Pro (4.50 - 7.75) and Pro (6.00 - 8.99) will be contested on the 1/8 mile, Sportsman (12.00 - 19.99), S/P Motorcycle (7.50 - 15.99) and High School Eliminator will be contested on the 1/4 mile. High School eliminator will be contested on Sunday of the event rather than on Saturday as in the past. Jr. Dragsters will not be contested at this event as they have a stand alone Divisional Championship race scheduled at Wabash Valley Dragway. Time runs, 3 for all contestants are planned. Racer entry fees, which has been, and will again be paid by Bunker Hill Dragstrip, will be $40, with the all or none stipulation remaining. (Track/team entry fee will be $1,280 ($40 X 32) regardless of the number of team members sent to the event.) These are the highlights from the meetings, as the final written changes come down from the division office I will update here. If anyone needs specific information feel free to contact me at the track 765.689.8248 or electronically, steve@bunkerhillrace.com    If you have used my earthlink.net address in the past, please update to the new one above, as the earthlink account is going to be discontinued for another, better, service to be named later.
